OUR STORY

In the middle of a small village, on a sunny ridge, in 2005, to be precise on December 23, 2005, a small local tavern, then called DVA V ENEM (BAR), opened its doors. The tavern was popular with guests, both local and foreign. Young guests even called it the Gorički Spartacus.
All the sleepless nights and hard work gave rise to the idea that we should offer our guests something more. So in 2010 we started preparing food. Additional space was needed, so we added a terrace for about 40 people to the front of the inn. We offered our guests sandwiches and snacks. We also built a fireplace in which we occasionally roasted mixed meat, suckling pig and other types of meat. The number of guests grew, the demand for food was always increasing. We also expanded the inn inside, adding one room for about 40 people. With this expansion, we were able to start receiving groups, cooking lunches and dinners, organizing birthday parties and other celebrations. There were more and more guests, and we had to rename the inn or bar GOSTILNO PRI ZVONIKU. We had to increase the number of employees, both in the service and in the kitchen. We remodeled the kitchen and it is still in use today.





As the restaurant developed, it became clear that we needed another bread oven in the interior, where we could prepare dishes from the bakery and pizza. We built the oven in 2016 and started baking pizzas.
In February 2018, we entered a pizza baking competition, where we beat the other competitors, and became NATIONAL CHAMPIONS IN PIZZA BAKING! The owner of OKREPČEVALNICA PRI CIMEŠTRU, Mr. Martin Žokš, represented the company at the World Pizza Baking Competition in Naples, Italy on June 5, 2018, and achieved an excellent 27th place out of 640 competitors.
In 2018, we added conference rooms on the first floor, which can accommodate up to 80 people. We are proud of the success we have achieved, which encourages us to continue working hard.
The OKREPČEVALNICA PRI CIMEŠTRU team continues to invite you to visit us for good food and drinks. Visit us from Wednesday to Sunday, treat yourself to real, homemade and delicious dishes, dishes made to order, pizzas and refresh yourself with homemade juices or a variety of other drinks! We offer rooms for private parties (up to 80 people), a summer terrace, a picnic area, a children's and football pitch, conference rooms and more.
